Josiah Venture Fall Conference 2014

"Whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk the same way which He walked." 1 John 2:6.

Walk like Jesus...this was the heartbeat of Josiah Venture's recent fall conference back in the month of September. Our conference entitled ReJesus, gathered in attendance close to 300 national leaders from the 13 Central and Eastern European countries that Josiah Venture serves in.  For 5 days we studied the life of Christ and his model for making disciples who make disciples. It was such a blessing to serve alongside and under these fellow workers of the harvest during the week.

This was a really special time for my team and me, as it was our first major event together. By the end of the week our energy was nearly %100 drained though. Most of the time was spent taking photo's, editing session videos, creating other media materials, and catching up with old friends who were attending the conference (i.e. The Cramers). Below are some of the photos that I was able to snap during the conference. Enjoy!

"Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created." Revelation 4:11

Taking photos. Just drive.

Tonight I was able to take some family portraits for some new friends of mine here. We had a great time! It was a beautiful day to shoot photos, but it was quite chilly too. The weather is getting a lot colder dramatically fast here. I wouldn't be surprised to see some snow soon actually. Of course I am very okay with this. As much as I love hot weather and some good beach vibes, I also really enjoy mountains and winter weather. It is exciting to think that snow might be on the ground here for a while, and not just a few days at a time (which is typical for Washington suburbia).

The Božaňs.

The Božaňs.

After our photo shoot, I decided to take a drive. My initial desire was to chase the sunset to try and get some good pics since I had my camera with me. I ended up not really finding a great spot to get the shot I was looking for, but I had a great time just driving. I like driving, and I don't mind driving by myself. It is a great time to relax, pray, and unwind a bit. I am sure some of you can resonate with that. Here is a shot that I was able to snap on my drive. Cheers!
